Ben 3/3/14

*** Here is Ben's Email. It is very short. He talks to Nate about basketball. Nate's team lost in overtime in the semifinal state game. He was sad, but we are all trying to move on. Nate received Academic All-state and he is waiting for his mission call. He submitted his papers on his birthday. Ben doesn't write very much this week because he is headed to play basketball. I am sure he looks forward to p-days for things like that.
The pictures are:  1. Ben and his favorite companion Elder Harmon and Brad Wood a fellow Warrior. 2. Ben and his new Ipad.  ENJOY!***

Hey fam!!!
Sounds like another wild week Ladies and Gents!!! I want you to know, that just like it was no fault of your effort, the loss was not for lack of my faith, but I also say that I am over it and looking forward to your mission call!!!  It's time for some good time with each other!!! I hope you make a ton of memories in Hawaii!!! We had transfers this week, and a whole slew of miracles to go along with it!  Elder Gassant is my new companion!!! We have had a lot of fun already!  He is half Haitian half Tongan!!! So it's good to get a little bit of culture. Anyway, We found so many great people this week!!! Shantrese came to church this week, she thought the hymns were lame (they were) but other than that it was really good experience for her! She especially loved the way The sisters treated her in Relief Society.

Anyway, life is so good and I love you all so much!!! I'll try and write later!!! I have to get some mission ball on!!! my hour is up! Just know that this is the True and Living church! Live your lives in a way where no one can deny the gospel by the happiness in your life!  Be excited about the future for our family! I love you all tons!

Elder G

President Berry,

I would say some of our goals for the next five weeks would be to focus on obedience and doing those things that will help us improve not only what we do, but who we are. If we do these things we will be able to better help families and individuals to progress toward baptism. It's like we teach our investigators, much of the changes we need to make are quite simple, though they may be difficult to actually do. I can say the same applies to myself. I'm grateful for the opportunities placed before us to achieve our goals.

Elder Gottfredson
