Aaron 10/21/13

New trainee Elder Murphy from Modesto California!! He's a super solid (and tall) guy! Before coming out he was in the Marines, but had to leave due to nerve damage. Or something like that. He's 6'5", and played football in high school. Youngest of 4 brothers, two of which are also in the Marines. He's a stud! I'm stoked to have him as a companion, and we've already had an awesome 5 days! 

We've been getting out with the members a lot more this week, thanks to a missionary splits calendar that we've been setting up with Brother Styer (WML). Now we just need to get some more solid appointments for us to take the members to!! Most of our investigators have been super flakey, and it's getting to be a pain, so we're really focusing on finding, especially working with the members of the ward. Unfortunately, we still haven't been getting much success with the referrals we've been getting, so we've also been doing a lot of tracting. Sooooo much fun. :) 

At least it's been a lot cooler! Autumn is definitely here and kicking! On Saturday we even had to break out the sweaters! haha

I'm sorry I missed Nathan's farewell talk! I know it was awesome! If you have it recorded or written out I'd love to get that! 18 Days until he goes to the MTC! So you all should be around page 350 in the Book of Mormon today! I got a little behind but am now caught up. War chapters are always the best! haha

Not too much to talk about this week.It's really flown and a lot of it was just tracting. :)

I have a testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ! I know that as we turn to him and follow him, we WILL be blessed and guided each day. The Lord will not leave us alone! We have his promise that he will support us through everything, and I feel that every day!
